Jane Doe Inc.
Jane Doe Inc is a non-profit organization whose mission is to amplify the voices of all who are impacted by gender based violence and to undo the social injustices that perpetuate an abuse of power.
In creating this piece, I wanted to touch on the more verbal side of affection in depicting one man reaching out to another out of concern. Not only is there the display of affection by one making sure the other is okay, as well as stating the other can always rely on them, but then there is the more blunt form of affection with the exchange of each texting “I love you” to the other. By keeping the figures and text simple/broad, my hope is to allow room for interpretation/relatability in the viewer acknowledging the relationship between the two figures to be either that of two friends, two boyfriends, or a father and son.

Lynn Museum/ Lynn Arts
With the use of Adobe Photoshop, I created a digital illustration of the American astronomer, librarian, naturalist, and educator Maria Mitchell. Maria is known for her discovery of the Comet 1847 VI or T1 (also known as “Miss Mitchell’s Comet”) and was awarded a gold medal by King Frederick VI of Denmark.
Originally from Nantucket, MA, Maria spent the later part of her life residing in Lynn, MA until her passing in 1889.
Boston Harbor Now
Boston Harbor Now works with both public and private organizations to integrate, expand, and sustain ways of keeping the harbors in Boston open for recreational, educational, and cultural purposes; as well as, water transporta- tion and economic growth that is resistant to climate change.
With research done online and in person (from a ferry trip to Spectacle Island), I created rough sketches that highlighted three various animals known to live on the Bostonian Islands. Once deliberated, my final piece involved the creation of a 7in. x 5in. watercolor painting that illustrated a white footed mouse surrounded by berries and foliage, with a water landscape of the Boston skyline.
School On Wheels MA.(SOWMA)
School on Wheels Massachusetts is a non-profit organization that provides educational resources to children and young adults who are homeless.
Some of their programs involve a backpack drive, tutoring/mentorship pairing, and fundraising events such as their annual Run, Walk, and Wag for kids and Falmouth Road Race.
The task of this collaboration was to create designs/illustrations that reflected the organizations mission, highlighted some of the programs and events they host, and can be varsitile in promotional use.
